Real estate + Strata maintenance

Level 2 ASP

We are proudly level 2 ASP accredited electricians within the Ausgrid and Endeavour areas. This means we have the expertise to provide an electrical service for you from the Ausgrid or Endeavour networks to your dwelling. We can provide overhead and underground services, as well as disconnect/reconnection to the network for safe work to be completed on the line side of your service fuse. Having this accreditation allows us to be very competitive when pricing jobs that require a level 2 component. Safety is our first priority.

It is very common in Australia to find dwellings that do not have safety switches installed in their main switchboards, with many households fitted with the old original ceramic fuses and under sized mains cables. 
The ceramic fuses are very dangerous, they do not provide adequate protection and need to be replaced with an RCBO / RCD - more commonly known as a safety switch. These safety switch devices will trip off at the first sign of danger, protecting you and your loved ones from electric shock and risk of fire. For us at By the Sea Electrical, we can easily upgrade your main switchboard and install a safety switch to ensure your safety at home. 

With the growing needs of electricity usage in the home, you will need to have adequately sized mains cables to service the household. We are able to provide a quick check to uncover if you require a quote for replacement of the mains cables. If you plan on getting an electric car or a battery for your house in the future, we strongly recommend having the correct sized consumer’s mains to allow you to achieve your electricity requirements. 

Upgrading your lights to LED is a very smart decision. LED lights are vastly superior to standard halogens, boasting ten times the life span whilst using 85% less power. This is a task we love doing and can be as simple as changing a fitting.

Designing and installing new indoor and outdoor lighting solutions is at the core of our business and it’s what we do best. We offer a number of lighting services that can range from (but not limited to) hanging a beautiful pendant above your new island bench, lighting up a stairway, opening up a room with new downlights, installing a ceiling fan in your bedroom or planting garden lights to improve your garden and allow you to enjoy time outside with your family at night.
